10 October 2000: Drought application for Tamworth District

The Tamworth Rural Lands Protection Board has applied to have drought declared A Division, which stretches from Breeza across to Tambar Spring and to the Boggabri district; B Division, which takes in the Manilla area; and D Division, which takes in the Tamworth district. The only area not included in the application is C Division around Quirindi, where conditions seem to be holding better than elsewhere.
